2026 will be the year of Disney Adventure World
We cannot overlook the renewal of Walt Disney Studios Park and its transformation into the ambitious, innovative and exclusive Disney Adventure World (I am so excited and eager to visit this park 🤩).
This small park, which many guests only visit for a few hours, is set to be reborn with the opening of World of Frozen, the park’s newest area, as well as a Lion King area which will be unique among all Disney parks.
5 January 2026: closure of Annette’s Diner
This is the restaurant that offers the best burgers in Disneyland Paris and probably in Marne-la-Vallée, too! Its sous-chef was crowned Ile-de-France burger champion in 2023, did you know?

Unfortunately, my favourite restaurant in Disney Village is closing its doors for a complete renovation on 5 January 2026! Expansion of the kitchens, complete refurbishment of the dining room and replacement of the furniture are all on the menu, but the much-loved ‘American diner’ style will be retained!
It is scheduled to reopen in late 2026 with an even more 1950s-style American theme!
The Sports Bar & Lounge takes over!
After months of renovation, the brand new Sports Bar & Lounge is reopening on 22 November 2025 with a significantly expanded menu and floor space to accommodate more sports-loving foodies. There will be plenty to eat, with options including fish & chips (£19.50), baby back ribs (£14), hot pretzel sandwiches (£16), and even cutting boards and unique cocktails!
Early January: a nature-inspired makeover coming to Disney Sequoia Lodge
As I said last April, work to renovate the Disney Sequoia Lodge will start in January 2026.
This renovation is long overdue! While I love the atmosphere at this Disney hotel, I felt that the rooms were outdated and did not meet the comfort standards set by the Marvel Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel.
Contrary to initial rumours, the Disney Sequoia Lodge hotel will remain open throughout the renovation, although the rooms, lobby, restaurants, bars and all communal areas will be refurbished. This is good news because, as the work will be carried out building by building, you should be able to stay in brand new rooms throughout the year! The first glimpses of the test rooms are also very promising (see image below).

7 February 2026: return of major shows
Minnie’s Dream Factory returns to Walt Disney Studios Park (Studio D) on 7 February 2026 in a completely revamped, immersive version. Join Minnie, Donald, Chip and Dale in this lively musical show.
Running until 5 July 2026, this show promises to immerse the whole family in a joyful atmosphere from the start of the season.
Also starting on 7 February, the famous A Million Splashes of Colour parade will return to Disneyland Park, transforming Main Street, U.S.A., and the surrounding area into a festival of colour and music. The parade will feature floats inspired by the worlds of Disney and Pixar.
March: Frozen Ever After time
This is indeed a historic moment for Disneyland Paris, and particularly for Disney Adventure World, a park that has constantly reinvented itself since the arrival of Avengers Campus. The main attraction will be the opening of the World of Frozen area.
29 March 2026 : World of Frozen opening

This new land will offer a variety of experiences, some of which are exclusive to Disneyland Paris.
- The new Frozen Ever After attraction is an immersive dark ride inspired by Arendelle, in which visitors will sail through snowy scenery and meet the iconic characters from Frozen.
- Visitors can meet Elsa, Anna and Olaf, and enjoy photo opportunities and interactions with characters from the Frozen universe. Head to Arendelle Castle for a unique royal encounter!
- At the Nordic Crowns Tavern, a new Arctic-themed restaurant, you can enjoy a gourmet break surrounded by the atmosphere of Arendelle.
- The Arendelle Boutique and the Fjord View Shop are two new stores where you can stock up on merchandise and exclusive products inspired by the snowy kingdom.
- Take a stroll through the world of Elsa and Anna and admire the spectacular scenery, Nordic architecture, northern mountains and central fjord. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere like never before.
Adventure Way and Adventure Bay: the new aquatic hub
The hoardings blocking the entrance to Adventure Way will finally be removed, revealing the new boulevard that will lead you to the park’s future worlds. It will be the Main Street USA of the former studio, and an unmissable stop on the way to the World of Frozen and, later, the Lion King land.
Along this new main thoroughfare, visitors will be able to discover:
- Tangled Spin, a visually stunning flat ride inspired by teacups;
- A future flying carousel attraction based on the film Up (no opening date has been announced yet);
- Numerous themed gardens dedicated to the worlds of Disney and Pixar;
- The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, a table-service restaurant with Disney character meet-and-greets, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner;
- The Regal View Lounge, the first bar in Disneyland Paris’s history, offering a direct view of the night-time shows.
As for Adventure Bay, the heart of Disney Adventure World, this 3-hectare lake is comparable to an EPCOT-style hub. It will serve as a central point, connecting the park’s various areas.
The lake will host:
- The Disney Cascade of Lights, an exclusive new night-time show combining light displays, fountains, and aerial and aquatic drones.
- The show will feature scenes inspired by Mulan and Marvel, among others.
- There will also be an aquatic cavalcade called Celebration in Arendelle, featuring Viking longships and reminiscent of the atmosphere at Tokyo DisneySea.
The entire complex promises an immersive experience combining attractions, gastronomy, shows, and spectacular scenery, establishing Adventure Way and Adventure Bay as the new nerve centre of Disney Adventure World.
New developments without a date
- Opening of the new McDonald’s in Disney Village
- At the end of 2026, opening of Casa Giulia, a new restaurant replacing Planet Hollywood
- Reopening of the Disney Store
