How much does it cost to stay at the Davy Crockett Ranch Hotel?

You only have to run a simulation on the Disneyland Paris booking page to see that the Davy Crockett Hotel is the cheapest of all the themed hotels in Marne la Vallée.

Admittedly, the nearby Villages Nature Paris by Center Parcs is slightly cheaper, but it offers a very different experience, more focused on activities and less on the world of Disney.

In low season, you should expect to pay at least €177 per person for a night in a hotel with tickets, or at least €354. In the same season, the price drops to €125 for 2 adults or €62 per person on a dry night.

Where is Camp Davy Crockett?

Unlike most Disney hotels, Davy Crockett is not close to the parks. It is a 15km drive from the resort. Another important piece of information regarding access to the Disney Parks: it is not served by the free shuttles.

Located in the town of Bailly-Romainvilliers, this hotel is very close to the Euro Disney Group’s newest hotel: Village Nature Paris by Center Parc. So you’ll have to get to the parks by car, Uber or public transport. It takes 40 to 50 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by car.

Introducing the hotel

The Davy Crockett Ranch, as it was known when it opened in 1992, is a Disney hotel that plunges guests into the world of the Wild West and America’s most famous trapper. The Walt Disney Company is very familiar with this character, who was the subject of a television series broadcast in 1954.

Like the Cheyenne Hotel, which takes you back to the days of the conquest of the American West and the towns of the Wild West, this campsite is structured like a pioneer village, with buildings that have very specific functions.

Map of the Disney Davy Crockett Ranch resort

The campsite’s 584 cabins are divided into 8 zones named after the trails followed by trappers, such as the Cherokee Trail or the Tomahawk Trail.

Unlike the other Disneyland Paris hotels, this one has no stars. In fact, it does not fall into the category of tourist hotels, which can have from one to five stars.

Afraid of critters?

Some guests seem unhappy to find spiders and other insects in the bungalows. You have to understand that the accommodation is in the middle of the forest, in the middle of nature. So it’s hardly surprising!

The Davy Crockett Cabins

This Disney hotel is really not like any other hotel. It offers accommodation in the form of small air-conditioned chalets rather than rooms. Of course, this type of accommodation is very different from hotel rooms, but it has advantages that hotel rooms don’t have, such as the possibility of barbecuing at mealtimes! A great experience to share with friends and family.

There are 3 types of tribe bungalows at this Disney-style campsite, all of which can sleep up to 6 people (1 double bed and 4 single beds):

  • The Trapper Tribe Cabin: this is the standard mobile home, but it’s perfectly equipped for a weekend or a long family stay! Radio, kettle, fridge, TV with Disnet channels, terrace for aperitifs, dishwasher, microwave: everything you need for cooking!
  • The Pioneer Tribe Cabin: this bungalow is exactly the same as the Trapper bungalow. The facilities are the same and the area is the same. However, it’s much closer to the ranch’s amenities, such as the reception, swimming pool and Crockett’s Tavern restaurant.
  • Premium Tribe Cabin: Like the Pioneer, this bungalow is located as close as possible to the resort’s services. It also has extra facilities such as tea and espresso coffee making facilities, slippers, bathrobe, Disney shower gels and shampoos, cleaning kit and a complimentary bottle of mineral water.

Brand-New Bungalows in 2025

Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is next on the list, following the complete refurbishment of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel (2021) and Disneyland Hotel (2024).

Starting in 2025, all 584 cabins will be gradually replaced with brand-new and rethemed cabins !

Trapper or Pioneer Cabin: which to choose?

The answer to this question depends on two things: your need for peace and quiet and/or proximity to activities and restaurants.

  • If you have young children, I would recommend the Pioneer tribe bungalow. You will be able to eat at Crockett’s Tavern or play at the Junior Rancher’s playground more quickly. It’s a bit of a no-brainer on a rainy day.
  • If you’re going with adults or friends, there’s no need to stay nearby. On the contrary, if you want to party in peace and quiet, you might as well be as far away as possible.

What and Where to eat at the Davy Crockett ?

Breakfast

If you’re a good camper, you’ll be able to bring and prepare your own breakfast at your campsite. If you’ve chosen a Premium Tribe bungalow, you’ll even have enough to make an early morning espresso.

Weather permitting, you can enjoy breakfast with your family on the patio to the sound of birdsong in the morning! And if you’ve forgotten to do your shopping before you leave, the Alamo Trading Post has everything you need. Cereals, milk, coffee, tea, biscuits: the hotel’s supermarket offers a wide range of products.

If you opted for breakfast when you booked, you can take advantage of a box containing everything you need for breakfast. For €12 per person, you can pick up a basket containing pastries, bread, cereals, fruit juice, jam, Nutella and milk.

The Crockett’s Tavern : all-you-can-eat buffet

Because a Disney hotel always has its own restaurant, Davy Crockett has its own tavern. An ‘all you can eat’ buffet restaurant with the same Tex-Mex and vegan specialities as La Cantina, the Santa Fé restaurant.

At €35 for parents and €22 for children, the restaurant’s all-you-can-eat buffet is the cheapest in Disneyland Paris. But just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s bad. On the contrary, it’s just as attractive as the Cheyenne or Santa Fé restaurants.

The Tavern has a twin sister!

Did you know that? There is another Crockett’s Tavern in the USA. It is in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort at Disney World in Florida.

The Crockett’s Saloon : for a quick drink and snack

What would a Wild West town be without its saloon? For an aperitif with friends or family, the Davy Crockett Bar is the place to be! Mojitos, Wild West spritz cocktails, beers, snacks: you can quench your thirst and even play a game of pool.

Things to do

The Blue Springs Pool: DLP’s most beautiful heated pool

Quite simply, it’s the most beautiful indoor pool in all the Disneyland Paris hotels! Visible from the restaurant, the Blue Springs Pool offers a relaxing environment in both winter and summer. In summer, you can enjoy the terrace and sunbathe. The rest of the year, you can enjoy the 28°C water in a magnificent setting.

Davy Crockett's ranch pool

The pool has a nice slide. It is accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Did you leave without your swimsuit?

Don’t panic! At the entrance to the pool, you’ll find a vending machine that sells swimsuits and other accessories (caps, goggles).

The Alamo Trading Post: The Village Shop

The Alamo Trading Post is unlike any other Disney store: it’s both a supermarket and a Disney store. In the supermarket section, residents can pick up the few groceries they might need during their stay, including pet food. You can also buy ears, pins and other souvenirs.

Outdoor Activities

Do you enjoy outdoor family sports? You’ve come to the right place! Davy Crockett offers the widest range of outdoor activities.

  • Tennis: Two fully covered tennis courts where you can play even in bad weather (book at reception).
  • Minigolf: a little extra activity for 8 to 88 year olds.
  • Pony trekking: Children love this activity (extra charge) but it is not available all the time.
  • Play area: teepees, pillboxes and slides for the little ones to play cowboys and Indians.

Lucky Racoon: the games room

When the weather doesn’t allow you to play outside, the Lucky Racoon arcade offers a few extra games such as air hockey, arcade terminals and a basketball game.

And what about Disney’s accrobranche?

Did you know that one of the best tree-climbing courses in the Île-de-France region is right next to the Ranch? Le Parcours Aventure®, formerly known as Davy Crockett’s Adventure, offers a great activity for the whole family from the age of 2!
