Room-only stays at Disney Hotels: prices, booking and tips

What is a room-only stay?

In English, the term usually used is “room-only”. In French, you may hear the expressions “nuit sèche” or “nuit seule”. Unlike a Disneyland Paris hotel-and-ticket package, a room-only stay only includes the hotel room.

These room-only stays are especially popular with Disneyland Pass holders, formerly known as Annual Pass holders. Disneyland Pass holders regularly get access to special Disney Hotel offers throughout the year, with preferential rates of up to 50% off for Disneyland Pass Gold members. Since they already have park access for themselves and their companions, they only need to book the accommodation.

Why book a hotel stay without park tickets?

Room-only stays are not just for lucky guests who already have a Disneyland Paris pass. There are many situations where booking a hotel room without park tickets can make sense:

• A friend or family member with a Disneyland Pass has given you access to a 1-Day / 2-Park Privilege Ticket offer.
• You bought your tickets through your company benefits scheme or works council.
• You want to create your own Disneyland Paris package by buying park tickets directly from Disneyland Paris and booking one or more nights in a hotel near Disneyland Paris.
• You won park tickets in a competition.
• You bought tickets from another person through a platform such as Passetonbillet.fr or via a Facebook group.
• You want to extend your stay around Disneyland Paris after an initial trip.

What is included, and what is not included, in a room-only stay?

At an official Disney Hotel

When you book a room-only stay at one of the 7 themed Disneyland Paris hotels, you can enjoy almost everything the hotel has to offer — except, of course, access to the Disney Parks.

All hotel services are included, as well as privileged access to hotel restaurants and activities such as swimming pools, sports facilities and photo spots, including the Marvel Super Hero Station at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel.

Like any Disney Hotel guest, you can also use the concierge service for restaurant bookings, excursions and transport, as well as the free shopping service.

However, the following are not included:

• Park tickets
• Breakfast, which must be paid for separately on site

At a partner hotel or hotel near Disneyland Paris

For partner hotels and nearby hotels, the principle is more or less the same as for Disney Hotels. The main difference is breakfast, which may sometimes be included when you book.

Most hotels located around Disneyland Paris also offer a free shuttle service to take you to the Disney Parks and Disney Village.

How to book a room-only stay at a Disney Hotel

To book a room or suite at a Disney Hotel, the only option is to call the Disneyland Paris booking centre by phone on 09 69 32 60 61. This is a non-premium-rate number.

If you have a Disneyland Pass, simply go to the official website, then to the “My Disneyland Pass” section. From there, click on “Book a room”.

Please note: Annual Pass discounts do not apply to all dates or all hotels. During Disneyland Pass promotional periods, it is not uncommon for the Disneyland Hotel and Villages Nature Paris to be excluded from these offers.

Package or room-only stay: which option is better value?

The answer mainly depends on whether or not you already have park tickets.

If you already have park tickets

In this case, booking a room-only stay will always be the better-value option. To save as much as possible on your trip, choose a nearby hotel, which will usually be much cheaper — although without the full Disney magic.

For example, by choosing the B&B Hotel Disneyland Paris, one of the cheapest hotels near the resort, you can pay as little as €110 per night with early booking, based on January rates.

If you do not have park tickets

In this case, you will need to compare both options carefully. If you manage to buy a cheap Disneyland Paris ticket, you may be able to save money. But this will mainly depend on when you want to visit and how much you pay for your tickets.
