Furthermore,many guests of the Disney Sequoia Lodge were able to get a glimpse of the hotel&#8217;s future style this year. Indeed, the corridor on the 4th floor of the hotel <strong>has been partially renovated,<\/strong> giving a glimpse of the hotel&#8217;s new, brighter, more modern style. Some rooms have already been renovated as well but no preview is available yet. As of January 2025, no official timetable or closure announcement has been made.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text-center mt-5 mb-5\"><span data-disney=\"aHR0cHM6Ly9jbGsudHJhZGVkb3VibGVyLmNvbS9jbGljaz9wPTg4NTQmYT0zMzgyNTg3Jmc9MjIwNTQxMTQ=\" class=\"linkblank btn btn-disney\">Book now in the Disney Sequoia Lodge &nbsp;<i class=\"bi bi-calendar-heart-fill\" style=\"font-size:1.2rem;\"><\/i><\/i><\/div>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"price\">How much does it cost to stay at Sequoia Lodge?<\/h2>\n<p>Disney&#8217;s Sequoia Lodge is a mid-range hotel. The average price for a night is somewhere in between the top end of the range and the more affordable hotels.<\/p>\n<p>For a night with a stay + tickets package in the cheapest month of the year, ie January, <strong>you should expect to pay an average of \u00a3165 per person<\/strong>. This drops to \u00a3100 for a dry night using Booking or another central reservation service.<\/p>\n<p>For the best rooms, such as those overlooking the lake, you will have to pay a small supplement. This is around 10% more.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Estimated prices for one night and two park days<\/h3>\n<p>What&#8217;s more, this price is for standard accommodation in a classic room and can quickly rise if you opt for a room in the Golden Forest Club. Another thing to note is that the hotel is <strong>made up of several lodges<\/strong>, the main lodge and 6 adjoining lodges named after iconic American national parks:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yosemite Lodge<\/li>\n<li>Yellowstone Lodge<\/li>\n<li>Sierra Lodge<\/li>\n<li>Monterrey Lodge<\/li>\n<li>Big Sur<\/li>\n<li>The 6th chalet has no bedrooms and only the indoor swimming pool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"fyi\">\n<p><strong class=\"mb-2\">Not just any tree!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Proving that Disney doesn&#8217;t do things the same way everyone else does, the giant sequoia that the architect wanted at the centre of the complex was sourced from nurseries in Italy for months. (source : https:\/\/www.antoinegrumbach.fr).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I get to Disneyland Paris from the Sequo\u00efa?<\/h3>\n<p>You have two choices:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>On foot<\/strong>: take the Lake Disney promenade and walk past the New York Hotel to reach Disney Village in 5 minutes and the entrance to one of the two parks in 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"list\"><strong>By shuttle<\/strong>: the free shuttle stops every 12 minutes in front of the hotel entrance, 7 days a week, from 6.30am to 11pm. It takes a good 15 minutes to reach the bus station. To return to the hotel, go to the platform dedicated to the Sequo\u00efa Lodge hotel (SL) at the Marne-la-Vall\u00e9e \/ Chessy north bus station.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brief history of the hotel<\/h3>\n<p>The Sequo\u00efa owes its design to the only French architect ever chosen to design a Disney hotel: <strong><em>Antoine Grumbach<\/em><\/strong>. Antoine Grumbach participated in a competition organised by the Walt Disney Company, competing against other renowned architects including Jean Nouvel. It should be noted that Antoine Grumbach had already proposed another project a few months earlier, a hotel project illustrating the &#8220;forest of giants&#8221;, with immense buildings as tall as sequoias, connected by footbridges.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rooms\">Rooms and suites at the Sequoia Lodge<\/h2>\n<p>The hotel has a large number of rooms: 1011 classic rooms and 14 suites. Le Sequo\u00efa offers three types of accommodation:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard Rooms:<\/strong> Disney classics take pride of place in these cosy rooms with an &#8216;American chalet&#8217; atmosphere. There are several types of standard rooms: from the most classic, to those closest to the hotel&#8217;s facilities (restaurant, swimming pool, boutique), to those with the best view of Lake Disney. The latter is the most expensive.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Golden Forest Superior Rooms<\/strong>: Although no larger than the above, these rooms are located in the Golden Forest Club area and include a number of exclusive benefits. These include a private reception, breakfast and a sweet and savoury snack (from 4pm to 5.30pm) in the cosy atmosphere of the lounge, luggage storage, more amenities (mini-fridge, coffee maker) and access to the private lounge.<\/li>\n<li class=\"list\"><strong>Golden Forest Suites<\/strong>: At 55m2, the Sequoia Suites are more than twice the size of the other rooms. Ideal for big eaters, a little less profitable for bird eaters!<\/p>\n<p>But for the price, you&#8217;ll have access to a very wide selection! Viennese pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses, a wide range of breads\u2026 the choice is huge! And it&#8217;s as big as the dining room, which is an advantage when you consider how busy the restaurant can get!<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hunter&#8217;s Grill &amp; Beaver Creek Tavern<\/h3>\n<p>Hunter&#8217;s Grill will delight the palates of meat lovers and vegetarians alike! Don&#8217;t expect the finest cuisine at Hunter&#8217;s Grill, which is more of an upmarket cafeteria than a gourmet restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Disneyland Paris has to charge a hefty price for this all-you-can-eat buffet: <strong>\u20ac45 per adult <\/strong>(new prices 2022\/2023) and <strong>\u20ac25 per child<\/strong>. This comes to \u20ac140 for a family of 4.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"activities\">Activities<\/h2>\n<p>This is just a taste of the activities that await you at Sequoia Lodge. Relax in the 27-degree year-round heated pool, shop at Disney, laugh by the fire. This is one of the resorts with the most indoor and outdoor activities for all ages.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Indoor Pool<\/h3>\n<p>There&#8217;s no better way to unwind after a busy day in the parks! <strong>Quarry Pool &amp; Health<\/strong>, the water feature at Disney Sequoia Lodge, is one of the most spacious of any Disney hotel with a pool.
