  • Route 66 style: this hotel looks like something out of a Pixar Studios masterpiece. A motel in the American Southwest with a Disneyland Paris twist
  • Low prices: this is one of the cheapest Disney accommodations! Ideal for families on a budget, while still offering a magical Disney experience for children.
  • For the Star Bucks: a café latte to start your day before you hit the parks is priceless!

How much does it cost to stay at Disney Santa Fé?

Whether it’s a one-night stay or a ticket + accommodation package, the Santa Fé Hotel is one of the most affordable Disney hotels!

The price of this hotel is slightly lower than the Cheyenne Hotel, which has one star more. In fact, on certain dates, the difference in booking prices can be as little as a few tens of Euros.

Park access + accommodation packages

If you choose to stay during the low season (January, February/March weekdays), you can take advantage of a price of €175 per person for two days access to both parks and 1 night’s accommodation for two.

This price can more than double on the busiest days of the year, such as Christmas and New Year. Some weekends during the year or in the summer also have very high prices.

How much does a dry night cost at Santa Fé?

If you want to buy your tickets for Euro Disney separately, you can save a lot of money by using the dry night option. A standard room in a car will cost you at least €135 on a site like Booking. That’s a very competitive rate, even compared to the hotels in Val d’Europe or the partner hotels in Coupvray.

Where and when to book a stay at Santa Fé?

As the cheapest hotel in the Euro Disney group, it is also the least popular. As a result, you don’t have to book far in advance to be sure of getting a room, whether it’s for a weekend or during the school holidays. Bear in mind, however, that prices are higher during these periods.

Where is Santa Fe located at Disneyland Paris?

The Santa Fe is located in the town of Coupvray and not in Marne la Vallée as you might think. Flash Mac Queen’s residence is to the right of the Disney Sequoïa Lodge, on the south bank of the Rio Grande.

It’s the same distance from the parks and Disney Village as the Cheyenne Hotel, which is just across the road. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Walt Disney Studios or Disney Park.

Map of Disneyland Paris

To get to the park, simply follow the Rio Grande towards the New York Hotel and then Disney Village. If you don’t feel like walking, the free shuttle bus will take you to the park in 8 minutes.

This can be very handy in bad weather, but if you can make it in bright sunshine, we recommend you follow the route shown on the map above. There’s plenty to see on this walk, starting with the Iron Man and Captain Marvel statues opposite the Marvel Hotel.

How do I get there?

Located on the Avenue Robert Schuman, the hotel is as easy to get to as any other EuroDisney accommodation. If you’re coming from the airport, you can take the Magical Shuttle, the RER to Marne la Vallée Chessy station or the VTC.

Once you arrive at the station, the free Disney Shuttle will take you to your magical home in 15 minutes.

Presentation of the hotel

Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe, as it was formerly known, opened in 1992 at the same time as the first park. Originally designed by architect Antoine Predock, the hotel’s theme was New Mexico and California.

In fact, the original façade was covered with a portrait of American actor Clint Eastwood before it was re-themed as Cars Quatre Roues in 2011.

But have you guessed what this picture refers to? Doesn’t it remind you of American drive-ins? The main building, with its purple and blue neon lights, is another reference to US drive-ins. The overall architecture of the building is reminiscent of typical New Mexican adobe dwellings.

The Cars area is divided into 4 buildings:

  • The Luigi Building
  • The Mater building
  • The Flash Mc Queen building
  • The Sally building

The first two are closest to the parks. The other two are closer to the hotel’s services and amenities.

Cars Room at the Santa Fe

Do you love the world of Cars? You and your kids are in for a treat. The hotel is full of references to the Pixar animated film. Lightning bolts in the corridors, Martin’s silhouette on the outside walls: the theming has been very thorough. A good night’s rest is essential before the Piston Cup.

Standard Cars room and its construction cone decoration

As in Cheyenne, accommodation is available in three different categories of room (21 m2):

  • The standard Cars room: the decoration is the same for all rooms. You’ll sleep well in Radiator Springs, with a starting line duvet, Flash McQueen frieze on the wall, arrow-shaped mirror and construction cone lighting.
  • The Cars room overlooking the Rio Grande: you have to admit, the view of the river is a lot sexier than the view of any other building. And the price difference isn’t too big either.
  • The Cars Room Close to Services: This is the choice of parents with young children who don’t want to walk miles to get to reception, the restaurant or Starbucks.

Room Facilities

Each room has a flat-screen TV with Disney and international channels, a mini-fridge for chilled drinks and a safe. One small but important detail: the Cars rooms do not have air conditioning! You’ll have to make do with the fan on hot days!

The Bathroom

Details from the Disney Pixar animated film can even be found in the bathroom! There’s a frieze of racing flags on the tiles and a mirror shaped like a signal arrow. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and complimentary Cars toiletries.

Where and what to eat at the Santa Fe Hotel ?

Before or after a dream day at Disneyland Paris, a pit stop to recharge your batteries is a must! For lovers of American breakfast and Tex-Mex cuisine, welcome to the Santa Fe themed restaurants.

Where to eat breakfast?

There are two options for breakfast at the Flash Mac Queen Hotel: the all-you-can-eat breakfast served in the Cantina or the Starbucks located on the premises.

The Starbucks is close to the Trading Post, so you are close to the hotel’s services. Don’t expect it to be very spacious, as the Starbucks is quite small. So it can fill up quickly if it’s busy.

For more space and a wider selection of sweet and savoury products, you can have breakfast at the Cantina for €21 per adult and €14 per child. A lower price for this all-you-can-eat buffet than at more upmarket hotels. Good to know for those staying at the Sequoia and paying more 😉

La Cantina: cheapest All-You-Can-Eat buffet

Do you have a big appetite? Then La Cantina’s all-you-can-eat lunch or dinner menu is for you. It’s one of the cheapest buffets in Disneyland Paris! Prices in 2025 are €35 per adult and €20 per child.

This works out at €90 for a family of 3 and €110 for a family of 4. Please note that this package includes a drink for each person.

At La Cantina you can try all the Mexican specialities: guacamole, nachos, tacos, burritos and fajitas. There are a few Tex-Mex starters and a wide variety of main courses.

The Rio Grande Bar

Like the Cantina, the Rio Grande Bar pays homage to the cuisine of the American Southwest. It’s a great place to grab a club sandwich or a Mexican-style chicken salad. Young and old can enjoy an aperitif with tapas. Dads will also be pleased to know that football matches are broadcast here!

Activities on offer

Unfortunately for Santa Fé, the activities on offer to guests are rather limited. But don’t worry, there’s plenty to keep you busy. In fact, the days in the parks are packed enough to avoid spending too much time in the hotel.

Meet Mickey and other Disney characters

Flash Mc Queen isn’t the only star at Disney Santa Fe Hotel! Mickey also knows how to make a splash. In the mornings and evenings, guests can meet their favourite Disney character in the photo booth. Mickey and other Disney characters come to meet you once or several times a day. And from the beginning of 2022, Mickey will be wearing a brand new outfit that pays tribute to the fastest car in the Piston’s Cup!

The Trading Post Boutique

Disney Hotels are synonymous with Disney shopping! Little princesses and Cars drivers will find everything they need here. The shop is relatively large for a hotel boutique. Of course, you’ll find a selection of exclusive items such as American license plates and other Cars or Route 66 themed products.

Hotel services

Just because the Santa Fé is a 2-star hotel, doesn’t mean it doesn’t offer its share of guest services:

  • Extra magic moments
  • Free parking in the car park
  • Luggage storage
  • Rooms accessible to persons with reduced mobility
  • Baby cot hire
  • Concierge service
  • Safe, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi in rooms
  • Complimentary shuttle service
  • Shopping service
  • Disney and international channels
  • Magic Pass
  • Optional babysitting service

  • Service (80% positive): Staff are praised for their overall friendliness and responsiveness, whether at reception or in the restaurant.

Our quick review of the Disney Santa Fe Hotel

L’emplacement : 4/5

Some people might think that the Santa Fe Hotel is a long way from the parks, but that’s not the case at all. Admittedly, the extra 5 minute walk to the New York Hotel is not always pleasant in winter (especially if it’s raining). But when the weather gets warmer, it’s a pleasure to walk along the Rio Grande.

Rooms : 2/5 (for adults) 5/5 (for kids)

Well, let’s face it, unless you’re a huge Cars fan, the very childish decor of the rooms might not appeal to everyone. There’s also a problem that travellers often mention: hygiene and cleanliness, which are far from impeccable. So even though this Disney hotel is one of the cheapest, it’s fair to expect a little more in this area.

Food : 3.5/5

Let’s start with a good point: the price of the breakfast and dinner packages at La Cantina, the hotel’s restaurant. In fact, it’s the cheapest in Disneyland Paris. On the other hand, the choice at breakfast seems a little limited for travellers.

Activities :  1/5

The Santa Fé doesn’t excel in this area. By comparison, the Cheyenne, just across the road, offers plenty of activities for children. If you’re looking for sporting activities, the Davy Crockett Ranch is a little further away. Given the hotel’s theme, we’d have liked to see an outdoor cinema in the summer, in the style of an American drive-in.

Our verdict

It’s a far cry from the luxurious decor of the Disneyland Hotel, and not the most successful of Disney’s hotels. But there are many reasons to like the Santa Fé Hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the theme is really exotic and, above all, the price of a stay at this hotel establishment is accessible to all pockets (or almost).

Although this hotel is Disneyland Paris’ ‘entry level’ accommodation, the quality is there. The reviews are quite good for a budget hotel like the Santa Fé. A rating of 4.1 / 5 out of 15,000 reviews: not bad, eh? The bedding is obviously very comfortable (rated 8/10 at booking).
